Week 17.7.2011

Maze lake has been hard fishing this last week carp numbers landed are a little lower all though 6 PB's achieved again the weather has taken a turn for the damp and windy again, but this has not deterred our dedicated carpers from trying their luck on the lakes. As the weekend ended for some Sunday showed the wind blowing up the lake towards pegs 1 and 13 showing several good carp on the bank for this coming week. Last weeks catches went to Ian Young from Milton Keynes a regular on the Maze  who always manages to bank a good carp this time wiyh Rose at 32lb8oz using active 8 ,Chris Slade Of Martock had a nice 25lb Common, Graham Marshall Walsall landed a 29lb6oz mirror, Bobby from Birmingham on peg 3 enticed Helen 36lb on to the bank, Sue Chapple Truro had a good common named Monkey weighing in at 33lb 8oz beating her current PB well done Sue.Martin and Chris From Westbury both broke thier PB's with a 39lb mirror for Martin and a 22lb3oz common going to Chris, Lee Jenkins Warminster also had a PB with Martinita 41lb using the Cell. S Main and J Moore enjoyed thier first visit to Pavyotts  smashing their PB's with 3 good carp Joel junior 34lb8oz Chloe 35lb1oz and a 21lb 13oz common each caught on a different bait XXX , Cell and Live system. Joshes and Jades lake were also hard fishing but one very happy carper was Ginge from Weymouth on Joshes lake landing a 30lb4oz mirror Thanks again to all our customers.
