Week ending 10.4.2011
The warmer weather seems to be here and anglers are back on the banks allthough fishing is still hard and carp being a little elusive this week we have had some good catches, ther are a lot of naturals in the lakes at the moment and getting the carp on the boilies is a bit testing but patience and technique pays off for our determined carpers ,we have had over 30 carp out this week. Chris mann form Taunton was rewarded with a pb mirror at 35lb and a nice common 20lb, Wilson from worcester had a good session on peg 13 with 4 carp up to 35lb includig Walter 31lb 2oz footloose 35lb 7oz a 24lb mirror and a lovely common at 27lb 8oz using 6 mm pop ups, Russ also from worcester on peg 5 had a surpise landing them same fish twiciin 48hrs Kerreie at 35lb, Daz form bedford banked a good pb with Martinita at 42lb on peg 10 and his fishing buddy Steve had a nice 34lb mirror, Steve Tobin, Forest of Dean caught 3 carp on his visit blaize 30lb a25lb5oz and a 13lb all mirrors, On Joshes lake several doubles were landed and Simon Deverill trobridge had Riff dog at 31lb 5oz using CC Moores live system on peg 5. All in all its not been a bad week with some satisfied customers on the lakes.
