Pavyottsmill Catch Report wk ending 11/09/11

The weather here at Pavyotts has been unsettled with some strong gales at times, never the less that did not stop our anglers catching a few carp. The Maze lake has produced some good fish. Tom Blower from Manchester caught a 27lb er and his PB using cell tipped with corn. Also with a PB is Dean Wallbank from Manchester using a critical balanced XXX. Another PB goes to Chris Blunden from S.Petherton, catching a nice 32lb 2oz using Matrix Plus. Angie with a 19lber and 2 other fish up to 10lb. Maca Watkins from Tipton had a 26lb 8oz mirror. Terry Smith also from Tipton catching a 17lb 10oz common.  Phil Pace from Leicester had a 8lb common using Cell.  Paul William with a nice 26lb 8 oz mirror using Live System. Pete Rudolf with a cracking session landing Stretch Mark at 40lb 2 oz mirror, also Dorris May at 36lb another Mirror, another Mirror at 33lb 8 oz and 1 more at 25lb using XXX, so well done to you Pete.  Peter Hooper from Westbury landed a 29lb common using Maple 8. Mike Thatcher from Kent enticed our Iris at 36lb 6oz using Live System. Dan Matthews caught our foot long at 36lb 4oz and 2 other carp up to 14lb using Cell and Corn. John Pollock from Bristol caught 3 carp from 11lb to 34lb 3oz using Live System. Dean Purvis from St Albans had a cracking 40lber and also a 21lb carp using Live System tipped with Corn. Mr Harper from Bristol had 3 carp with the biggest being 14lb. Jades lake has not seen many carpers this week but Neil Fordge from Poole had a 6lber and Richard Ivers from Chard caught 5 carp from 10lb to 16lb using House Bait. Joshes lake has been fishing really well with Ashley Brown from Portland catching a 17lber and a 8lb both being Mirrors. Danny Pedley from Weymouth with an 8lber. Neil Fordyce from Poole stayed a week and had a cracking session enticing 18 carp onto the bank weighing from 3lb to 20lb, the 20lber was a nice Grass carp which we hardly see. Most of his catches were caught using Live System dumbbell tipped with corn.  Nice one Neil well done. Also his brother fished and landed 3 carp with the biggest being 12lb. 11 year old Liam caught our Riffdog using XXX and smashed his PB, well done Liam.
