Week ending 17.4.2011

What a great week we have had at Pavyotts many happy Carpers on the bank some good weather has turned the lakes on with upto twenty  30s landed and two 40s.  Steve fish from Burnley on peg 10 and 12 had a great session landing Sammy weighing in at 41lb 5oz on CC Moore's new glugged triple x dumbbells with three 30's to follow Lucky Lizzy 31lb 12oz Murphy 32lb 5oz and Chloe 36lb 8oz this was his second visit to the lakes and says he will definitely be back, not to be beaten his fishing Buddy Darren Winterbourne landed Sylvia at 40lb using Live system also had two smaller carp at 17lb and 15lb, Ian young had Hayley Jane 34lb 6oz and D, Norris landed Two Scan who is piling on the weight at 37lb on peg 3 using Live system, Don from Ringwood who has fished all over the world and never caught a Grass carp before managed to land a 17lb 3oz Grassy a 24lb common and a uk PB with Stacey at 31lb 1oz and was over the moon, his fishing partner Terry Payne  had a good session with Seven eights 38lb 2oz also a uk PB and two doubles, Charlie Blakley from stoke cleaned up on peg 10 with 8 carp 6 mid to upper 20's an 18lb and two 30's Emirates 31lb 8oz and Helen 39lb 8oz, Glen Blackley caught a nice 25lb mirror then moved on to Jades lake to land Stella at 29lb 8oz, Jason Richards Exeter peg 12 landed his first 30 Lilly 31lb on xxx, Rich Gregory had two good carp 28lb Maddison and 32lb Kerrie and Marcus the plumber on an over night session caught a 31lb Mirror on CC moores xxx glugged dumbbells, Jack Martin age 10 from Castle Cary accompanied by his Father Simon achieved his PB with a 25lb 8oz mirror on peg 11 using xxx.  On Joshes lake young Jazz Bright who came to the lakes over 2 years ago and had only a  little knowledge on Carp fishing with the help and guidance from Beccy, Steve  and the regulars has at last tuned his skills and caught his first 30, Dakas mirror at 31lb 1oz he spends most of his summer holidays on the lake with the support of his Dad Stuart who is very pleased his investment has eventually paid off its great to see the youngsters catching and spending ther time on the bank not the streets, another youngster taken with the sport of catching carp is Sam Palmer aged 12 who landed two PB's on Joshes lake with Riff dog 31lb and Mi Julie 30lb 4oz both falling to xxx Well done to the young Carpers.

Not forgetting the many 20's caught this last week Richard Bournam Hatherleigh, 24lb common and 22llb7oz mirror, Chris Jones Cheltenham 26lb mirror on engage Marcus the plumber from Frome 23lb9oz mirror ,Steve Witon Droitwhich peg 6 22lb mirror on cell and N/S popup, Lesley Bush Oxford an 18lb and 24lb4oz mirror on xxx and Ali Hoaley Chippenham 23lb mirror on L/S .
