Week ending 20.3.2011
The Maze lake has shown over 50 Carp this past week including 3x 40s and 10x 30s allthough night time temperatures have still been very cold the spring sunshine has been warming up the waters and bringing some of our residents onto the feed producing some great cathes hence some very happy carpers, with the great atmosphere and facilities here at Pavyotts we are looking forward to a fantastic year and hope to produce some of the best catches in the country so watch this space ! Here are some of the results from this week Adam Simpson from Burnley on peg 5 which is coming back into its own had a graet session landing our greedy carp Martinita at 42lb 2oz Walter at 32lb12oz and 13 other smaller carp up to 17lb using 10ml boilies tipped with plastic maggot,, Mark Hays, Dereham fishing peg 6 landed Kerrie at 33lb on CC moores live system, Mark (pegleg) from Weymouth had a good result after a 2 year absence fishing many other local waters came back to beat his PB twice with Joel weighing in at 38lb and an unnamed mirror at 34lb also 2 nice commons at 18lb and 14lb using Pavyotts house bait nice to see you back Mark, Dave the trician from Bristol thanks some one for leaving the washed out live system on peg 7 and went on to have a good haul with 3 mid twenties 2 being commons also Doris may at 35lb 2oz with a smaller 13lb12oz common to finish of his session, he topped all his baits with Northern specials, Andy Eamer from Bristol enjoyed his 48hr session with a PB, producing Sammy at 40lb also Troy boy 32lb also a 16lb common on Live system. Tom Berry and Ben Williams from Newquay both landed PBs at 28lb and 25lb2oz, using the Cell, Chris( alias Christina) from Chippenham who has had a recent spate of blanks encouraged Footloose out at 35lb and says it was the his new perfume that did it and not Toppers rigs, Luke from Bristol landed one eyed willy at 37lb a PB for him using Pineapple popups, Bully from Yeovil banked Martinita( if she keeps this up she should make 50lb ), Bob from Tiverton on peg 5 had 3 mid to upper 20s and Barney who is a stunning mirror at 36lb 7oz nice to see him out, using cell and live system with Northern special popups. Several other good twenties commons and mirrors were landed by our regular and new customers , Nathan Bristol,Mike Crediton Jeremy Paignton and Matt Bristol, so well done to all and looking forward to seeing you again through the season with some great catches to come.
