week ending 21/08/2011

The Maze has been a little quieter this last week but some good carp landed with 1 x forty 11 x thirtys 14 x twenties and several doubles. The forty Martinita went to Ollie Drewe from Exeter along with Blaise at 33lb 16oz making 2 P,B s for him in one session on peg 5, Nick Chandler also on peg 5 had a great catch landing 6 carp including 3 upper thirties 1at 30lb  also two doubles. Dom.O from Bridgewater peg 3 landed a couple of carp Murphy at 33lb his PB and a 23lb using home made Boilies, Roy Akay Minehead fishing peg 11 had 3 good carp an immaculate common Sandy at 36lb2oz another P.B achieved plus Tracy 32lb and another lovely common at 28lb all caught on the Cell .Nathan Jackson Manchester had another good session on the lake fishing peg 13 landing carp at 33lb 26lb 24lb and several smaller carp.Chris from Chippenham landed the prettiest carp on the lake Barny weighing in  at 39lb using live system, Flo and Andy from Bristol had a good visit to the Maze on peg12 landing 4 carp upto 31lb,well done to all those landing 20,s. So overall not a bad weeks fishing.

I would like to announce the sad loss off Sylvia it was brought to our attention that she had been dropped which led to her death we are very distressed about this as we provide very good weigh slings which should be usesd at all times any one in future not using correct equipment will be asked to leave and recieve a ban.
