Week ending 24.4.2011

Been a great week at Pavyotts  7 Personal bests and many happy carpers on the lakes the weather has been on the sunny side and the carp are biting, the lakes are buzzing with life and everything is at its best at this time of year , with up to 40 carp on the bank we have no complaints from anyone even the odd ones that did not catch  just enjoyed being here. Chris (alias Christina) from Chippenham peg 7 had his first 40 in the net after several years and a few 30s under his belt he landed Martinita at 42lb his uk PB  using CC Moores live system also the Duck a stunning common 32lb4oz on Nash pop up corn, Lee from Oldham peg 10 landed Tracey 36lb and a 26lb mirror on xxx and pop up corn, Father and son team Kain and Mark peg 1 landed 2 good carp Scarface 37lb for kain and Dad Mark a good 29lb mirror both on pop ups, Andy hall in his last 30mins managed to catch Scarface as well on peg 8 his uk PB,Micheal from Cardiff netted a lovely mirror weighing in at 38lb on CC Moores xxx , Sam Buetley Weymouth was over the moon with his uk PB common named Ekim at 32lb again on xxx, Marcus from frome one of our regulars landed two excellent carp both mirrors on xxx 31lb and 39lb 1oz, Dave the trician had another great session with Troyboy 31lb 1oz Lilly 29lb4oz and Joel Junior 34lb 1oz using CC Moores Meteor, Rick and Mick Thompson landed 4 carp up to 31lb 8oz inc a stunning Linnear who they named Valarie.. Both Joshes and Jades lakes have fished well showing several 30s and doubles Arran Marquich landed Dakas mirror 31lb and Mike Flaherty with Riff dog thoroughly enjoyed their visit. There were many upper 20s landed on all 3 lakes over the week and we are expecting a very busy month ahead
